SUMMARY:
My client has an opportunity for a Road Freight Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-modal shipments (exports/imports) and ensuring compliance with destination country requirements. Maintain high service levels and revenue margins while minimizing errors and write-offs.

POSITION INFO:

Grade 12 and a Certificate/Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain.
3-5 years of experience as a road freight controller in a freight forwarding environment, with import and export expertise.
Proficiency in Mandarin (non-negotiable).
Coordinate all shipments in line with purchase orders and INCO terms.
Collaborate with suppliers and expeditors to ensure timely order dispatch.
Obtain proof of delivery (POD) from hauliers or destination offices before processing payments.
Invoice clients accurately, aligned with agreed terms and credit policies.
