POSITION INFO:
Contract: March 2025 - June 2026
Location: Hybrid
Travel: West Africa (4x annually)
Primary Skill: Solution Architecting

As an Engineering/Quality Assurer, you'll be the critical link ensuring that our projects meet the highest quality standards from inception to deployment. This hybrid role combines consulting and advisory responsibilities, requiring you to:

• Review and assess business requirements, standards, and project deliverables.
• Provide expert guidance to Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects.
• Conduct on-site assessments to ensure alignment with agreed designs and contracts.
• Identify interdependencies, streamline project execution, and avoid wastage.
• Deliver comprehensive reports and propose actionable solutions for improvements.

• Assess and provide input on business requirements.
• Critically evaluate project impact on existing solutions and inflight initiatives.
• Update and refine internal standards based on industry best practices.
• Ensure high-quality project execution with minimal rework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive excellence and innovation.

• Deep understanding of mining and industrial plant processes.
• Expertise in IT/OT convergence and the Purdue model.
• Experience with:
  • Cybersecurity and industrial control system architecture.
  • Data flow from sensor to cloud, including backup and recovery.
  • Data center and hosting facilities design.
  • Mining applications (Pit to Customer).
  • Data management and visualization.

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Honours degree in IT, Computer Science, or Informatics.
  • Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Enterprise Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF 9/10).
• Proven experience in mining/industrial plant design and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel and engage in fast-paced projects.
• High proficiency in English; French proficiency is a bonus.
• Strong leadership, ownership, and self-management skills.
