Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, and motivate a team of Retail Sales Consultants to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ensure the shop floor is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting walk-in clients, offering expert advice, and ensuring a smooth purchasing experience.
- Manage merchandising, stock levels, and product displays, ensuring availability and correct presentation.
- Implement and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists to maintain efficiency.
- Analyze sales performance, set goals, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
- Maintain a high standard of security, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute in-house promotional ideas to attract new customers and boost sales.
- Act as a role model in delivering face-to-face sales and customer service excellence.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in a similar industry.
- 5+ years of retail/shop floor experience in a related field.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing within a retail environment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of emotional intelligence and effective relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems.
- Matric qualification is essential; a tertiary qualification is advantageous.
- Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license are preferable.
