Retail Branch Manager - Nelspruit (Automotive parts & services)

SUMMARY:
A leading energy storage company with branches throughout South Africa, requires an experienced Branch Manager for its Nelspruit branch. The incumbent will ensure that the branch runs effectively, delivering exceptional levels of service, monitors the financial performance (sales, debtors and creditors) of the branch and maintains stock at the required levels.

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements:

• Matric
• Min 5 years retail branch management experience in the same or similar/related industry
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Proven track record of growing sales
• Essential customer service and communication skills
• Leadership skills and results orientation
• Appropriate product and application knowledge, including ability to read technical brochures
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literate: MS Office

• Achieving key branch KPI’s in respect of sales; stock level; staff performance; order management, general administration and supply chain management.
• Manage staff performance across all the departments: including all-round job performance, discipline, training, attendance and staff morale.
• Stock Control: Daily and monthly stock counts; Stock reporting on stock shortages and discrepancies and resolution thereof; dealing with warehouse and dispatch about stock discrepancies in respect of receiving and delivery.
• Handling of all exports together with the relevant paperwork and export documentation
• Following general operational procedures and health and safety rules and standards
• Managing Customer Service: including managing quotations, effective handling of customer complaints, accurate technical advice and ensuring warranty information, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of merchandise is communicated at purchase.
• General Branch Administration: Including cash, debtors and creditors management, sale documentation is complete according to policy and lodged with HO, dealing with expense claims and IBT’s.
