Retail & Stock Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant

SUMMARY:
Do you have senior bookkeeping experience working from a Head Office involved in retail stores, managing the full function of accounting? 

Our Client based near Elandsfontein and Germiston requires an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the financial functions for their branch in Australia, working from SA.

Must have advanced Excel skills. (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum qualification would be a higher certificate/diploma in finance or bookkeeping.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
• Advanced excel essential - VLookup and pivot tables
• Sage X3 experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of GRN and Purchase Invoice procedures on Sage X3 advantageous
• Knowledge of Rebates Calculations - advantageous

• Manage daily and weekly Sales Report
• Weekly and Monthly Bank Recon
• Sending Bank Deposits to Credit Controller Daily
• Cashbook
• Manual matching in Sage X3
• Capturing Creditors Invoices into Sage X3
• Preparing Creditors Recons
• Preparing payments on ANZ Bank
• Personal Expenses Journals - Weekly
• Capturing Petty Cash - Monthly
• Assisting with preparation and posting of Quarterly Stock Takes
• Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation Journal
• Stock Adjustments in Sage X3
• Mange expense variances
• Assisting Finance Controller with various schedules for Financial Year End and Annual Budgets
• GL recons
• Knowledge of GRN and Purchase Invoice procedures on Sage X3 which will be a back up for procurement
• Knowledge of Rebates Calculations - advantageous
• Any other admin related work
