Working on behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled professional to take ownership of proactive capacity planning and resource allocation across a busy IT and financial services portfolio. The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping future workforce strategies, maintaining a detailed skills inventory, and ensuring alignment between project demands and available talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive capacity planning and assess readiness for new project intake
• Optimise allocation of internal and external resources
• Monitor workloads and utilisation across project teams
• Resolve resource conflicts and manage shortages effectively
• Provide strategic input into workforce planning and capacitation
• Compile monthly resource reports and support continuous improvement of resourcing processes

Requirements:

• A relevant degree or higher diploma
• Project and Programme Management certification
• 4–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a project-focused environment
• IT and financial services industry experience is essential
• Portfolio Management Certification (PfMP, SAFe) is advantageous
