Research Audiologist

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Research Audiologist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, conducting, and documenting research studies to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of audiological products. This role requires a strong understanding of both clinical and research methodologies, as well as a commitment to regulatory compliance.

M.Communication Pathology in Audiology (or studying towards)

Minimum applicable experience (years):
1 - 2 years

Required nature of experience:

• Audiological research: design and implementation
• Report writing and documentation
• Fitment of hearing aids
• Fine tuning of hearing aid settings
• Customer relations and relationship management
• Working in a clinical environment and interacting with both clinical and non-clinical and academic colleagues
• The development of research protocols and the management and organization of data (user studies).

• Excellent English skills and communication ability
• Ability to organise and run a research project
• High competence in hearing aid fitting/aural rehabilitation
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve research aims and/or clinical goals
• Computer literacy
