Registered Nurse - ICU Experienced (Plettenberg Bay)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a private hospital in Plettenberg Bay is looking for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to join their team

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, providing necessary interventions and treatments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in critical care nursing
• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
• Create a learning environment that builds staff competence
• Ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charged
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

• Diploma in General Nursing / B Cur Degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification.
• At least 2 years experience in ICU
• Registration with the South African Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
• 2 years of experience in a private hospital setting
• Flexible in working hours/Shifts
