Registered Nurse (Centurion)

SUMMARY:
WE are seeking the skills of an Registered Nurse who will be based in Centurion. The working hours are Monday to Friday: 08h00 - 17h00. Salary is Market related.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Registered Nurse:

• Current SANC
• Valid BLS
• Preferred oncology experience
• Strong clinical skills
• Effective communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Emotional intelligence & empathy

• Assessing patient needs and any adverse reactions to chemo & response to treatment
• Administering medication, including chemotherapy
• Monitoring patient responses to treatment & reporting concerns to healthcare team
• Educating patients & families about cancer care & treatment
• Collaborating with inter-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Administrative and duties concerning safe nursing & record keeping
