Regional Operations Director

SUMMARY:
Seeking a Regional Operations Director in the Republic of the Congo.

POSITION INFO:
Are you an experienced leader in milling, baking, or feed industry manufacturing looking for a dynamic challenge in an international setting? We are seeking a Regional Operations Director to oversee multiple production facilities, drive operational efficiency, and implement best practices across our locations in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operational strategy and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the implementation of HACCP, Lean manufacturing, and other quality processes.
• Drive staff training and development aligned with continuous improvement goals.
• Ensure cost-effective and risk-mitigated OPEX execution.
• Set and monitor KPIs to optimize operations and efficiency.
• Standardize SOPs and best practices for manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with teams on quality, food safety, human safety, and capital projects.
• Conduct international travel (approx. 50%) across operations in Africa.

• Engineering Degree or Milling/Feed & Food Sciences Certification.
• 10+ years of managerial experience in milling, baking, or feed industry operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of agricultural commodities.
• Proven expertise in process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Experience working in developing countries is a plus.
• Willingness to work in physically demanding environments and travel frequently
