POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in raw material inventory management (storeman or stores controller experience required).
• Stock control knowledge and strong accuracy with figures.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring smooth material flow across departments.
• Strong administrative and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and expedite materials between departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuing of raw materials, maintaining accurate records.
• Implement and manage an orderly storage system, including bin management.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and procurement to prevent stock shortages.
• Supervise and train stores personnel (supervisory experience preferred but not required).
• Ensure good housekeeping, safety, and compliance within the store.
• Maintain accurate documentation for supplier evaluation, lab sampling, and deliveries.
• Update and manage Accpac, resolving stock queries and ensuring system accuracy.
• Generate and present monthly reports on supplier performance, stock levels, and deliveries.
• Oversee and adjust consignment stock, ensuring accurate balances and supplier communication.
