R2R Manager

SUMMARY:
A global company is seeking an experienced R2R Manager to join their Financial Reporting team. The role will support regulatory reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and process/system improvements. POSITION INFO:

Develop and motivate staff by providing clear direction to achieve their goals
Manage financial accounting and reconciliation for monthly payroll processes
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are produced on time, with clear ownership of outstanding items
Provide oversight of inter-company positions, ensuring reconciliation with other group entities as per policy
Collaborate with Commercial Finance Business Partners to ensure accurate accruals, prepayments, and journals
Support Finance Operations to ensure all transactions are accurate, complete, and recorded in a timely manner
Assist with audits (internal, 3rd party, or year-end), managing audit requests and evidence
Play an active role in embedding new accounting software
Support Finance Transformation project delivery
Ensure strong controls are in place and enhance them where possible
Stay updated on technical accounting developments and provide guidance across the team
Drive continuous process improvements for 'best-in-class' processes
Line management for 4-6 staff, including objective setting and monitoring

Skills & Experience:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with at least 3 years post-qualified experience
Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)
High motivation and focus on delivery
Proven track record of delivering continuous improvements
Ability to work well under pressure
Proactive, forward-looking, and challenging mindset
Strong organization and planning skills
Ability to develop internal and external relationships for best outcomes
Ability to train and develop Financial Accountants and Assistant Financial Accountants
Knowledge of best industry practices to improve departmental delivery
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality
Willingness to learn new processes/systems

Qualification:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
Experience in multi-currency or multi-country environments (preferred)
