SUMMARY:
MEP Quantity Surveyor – Exciting Career Opportunity in Malta!

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems?

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration for MEP-related projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile developments, collaborating with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure cost efficiency and project success.

POSITION INFO:

Your Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies specifically for MEP systems.
Oversee tendering, procurement, and contract documentation for mechanical and electrical works.
Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments for MEP installations.
Manage contract administration, variations, and claims related to MEP projects.
Track and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and cost-saving measures.
Assess and certify interim and final payments for MEP contractors and suppliers.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare financial reports, cash flow projections, and valuations related to MEP works.

What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related field.
Experience in MEP cost estimation, contract management, and procurement.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction contracts, and industry standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and cost management software.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
A valid driving license is an advantage.
