POSITION INFO:

A highly reputable quantity surveying consultancy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working within a Quantity Surveying consultancy! This is non negotiable.

The consultancy is renowned for delivering exceptional cost management and consultancy services to clients, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
Manage and monitor project costs to ensure projects remain within budget.
Conduct measurements and valuations, including re-measurements as required.
Assist with procurement, tender evaluations, and contractor negotiations.
Provide financial reporting and advice throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

Experience: 2-6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor at a quantity surveying firm (candidates from construction or engineering firms will not be considered).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in WinQS, DimX, and Excel.
Qualifications: Degree or advanced diploma in Quantity Surveying.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
