POSITION INFO:
A leading company in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in industry-specific software.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
- Conduct site measurements and valuations
- Oversee contract administration and cost control
- Ensure accurate pricing, tendering, and procurement processes
- Collaborate with project teams to optimize cost efficiency
- Utilize Candy and BuildSmart for project costing and financial management
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Fluent in English & Afrikaans
- Proficiency in Candy & BuildSmart software
- Valid driver’s license
Salary: R25 000 – R40 000, depending on experience and qualifications
