Quantity Surveyor

SUMMARY:

They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes ensuring that projects are completed within the agreed-upon budget, analyzing costs, and preparing tender and contract documents.

POSITION INFO:

• Prepare and evaluate tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
• Perform risk and value management and cost control during the project lifecycle.
• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Negotiate and procure subcontractor packages.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
• Manage project cash flow and commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit final accounts.

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and financial management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft).
