Quantitative Risk Senior Consultant

SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantitative Risk Senior Consultant to join their Financial Risk Management team. In this role, you will assist in the design and implementation of treasury, trading, and risk systems for clients, with a focus on market and counterparty credit risk. You will be part of a dynamic team working on projects related to risk measurement, performance techniques, and the development of operating models and organizational structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and implementation of treasury, trading, and risk systems.
• Assist with developing risk measurement techniques and performance assessments.
• Contribute to the development of risk management frameworks and operating models for financial services organizations.
• Work with trading and risk systems such as Front Arena, Calypso, Adaptiv, Quantum, and others.

• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of financial markets, data analysis, and derivatives valuation.
• Solid understanding of market risk and counterparty credit risk.
• Experience with programming languages such as VBA, C#, SQL, etc.
• Exposure to trading and risk management systems is desirable.
• Strong understanding of quantitative methods and their application in the financial services industry.

• Relevant Degree (BSc/MSc) in Mathematical Finance, Actuarial Science, IT, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in a financial services firm (e.g., banking, insurance), consulting, or technology.
