Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our quality management systems within the OEM industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role involves developing quality control processes, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System (QMS):
   • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System.
   • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
   • Conduct regular audits and reviews of the QMS to ensure its effectiveness.

2. Process Improvement:
   • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
   • Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

3. Product Quality Assurance:
   • Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
   • Ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and specifications.
   • Manage the inspection and testing of incoming materials and finished products.

4. Supplier Quality Management:
   • Develop and maintain supplier quality standards.
   • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
   • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

5. Customer Satisfaction:
   • Address customer complaints and issues related to product quality.
   • Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve customer concerns.
   • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction through continuous quality improvements.

6. Training and Development:
   • Provide training and support to employees on quality-related topics.
   • Develop and maintain a culture of quality throughout the organization.
   • Ensure that employees are aware of and adhere to quality policies and procedures.

7. Regulatory Compliance:
   • Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
   • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
   • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven experience in the OEM industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
