SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:
Ensure precision Quality products as per specifications are evaluated and reports are generated to enable customer satisfaction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Matric
Trade Tested Certificate
Qualification in QC
Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, procedures, industry specifications & codes.
MS Office and computer literate
Fundamental understanding of ISO9001 quality processes and procedure
3-5 years as Quality Control Inspector as part of an Engineering or Manufacturing Company

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that all components received and manufactured adhere to dimensional and other quality requirements reflected by drawings and specifications
Dimensional and visual inspection of all incoming raw materials, as laid down in the specific work instructions.
Conduct First-off inspections, in-process inspections and final inspections of manufactured products in accordance with QCP’s defined.
Completion of all necessary documentation such as inspection check sheets/reports
The carrying out of all daily inspections of components as they are manufactured, as laid down in the specific work instructions.
Maintaining all the quality records or control charts required
