Quality Control Officer (Germiston)

SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:
Ensure precision Quality products as per specifications are evaluated and reports are generated to enable customer satisfaction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Trade Tested Certificate
• Qualification in QC
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, procedures, industry specifications & codes.
• MS Office and computer literate
• Fundamental understanding of ISO9001 quality processes and procedure
• 3-5 years as Quality Control Inspector as part of an Engineering or Manufacturing Company

• Ensure that all components received and manufactured adhere to dimensional and other quality requirements reflected by drawings and specifications
• Dimensional and visual inspection of all incoming raw materials, as laid down in the specific work instructions.
• Conduct First-off inspections, in-process inspections and final inspections of manufactured products in accordance with QCP’s defined.
• Completion of all necessary documentation such as inspection check sheets/reports
• The carrying out of all daily inspections of components as they are manufactured, as laid down in the specific work instructions.
• Maintaining all the quality records or control charts required
