Quality Control Officer

POSITION INFO:

Job Overview: The Quality Control Officer plays a critical role in ensuring that all products leaving our manufacturing facility adhere to the company’s quality standards. This position involves monitoring and evaluating the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products, to identify any deviations from quality specifications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct routine quality checks and tests throughout the production process, including dimensional checks, visual inspections, and functional tests.
• Record and analyze data from inspections and tests, and generate reports detailing the quality status of products.
• Identify and document any defects or non-conformances, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and guidelines in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues and recommend process improvements.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
• Ensure that all quality control documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Assist in training production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulations related to packaging quality.

• 2-4 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
