Quality Assurance Technician / Tester

SUMMARY:
We are partnering with a reputable client who is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician / Tester to join their team in George. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software applications while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do:

• Design & Implement Testing Frameworks: Assist with building robust testing frameworks to ensure software quality across platforms and devices.
• Multi-Platform Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing on a variety of platforms to identify bugs and performance issues.
• Test Case Documentation: Compile and document test cases and results, ensuring clear communication and tracking.
• Audit & Regression Testing: Perform audits on existing systems and execute regression tests to maintain functionality and performance.
• Quality Improvement: Contribute to enhancing release quality and support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) through rigorous testing.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and project prioritisation to align with the team and project objectives.

• Skills & Experience:
  • Basic knowledge of unit and feature testing libraries.
  • Understanding of programming frameworks.
  • Experience in API back-end testing, Azure DevOps (pipeline setups), and Postman is crucial.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Postman, Selenium, DevOps, or similar.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Detail-oriented with a strong desire for self-development.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
  • A collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills.

• 3+ years of proven experience in software testing or a related field.
• A software testing certificate or relevant Degree.
• Based in or willing to relocate to George.
