Do you have a tester’s mindset, an engineer’s brain, and a drive for automation excellence? We're searching for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Cape Town who’s ready to lead quality strategies and build advanced automation frameworks from the ground up.

You’ll own the test process - designing robust test plans, driving automation with Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and ensuring performance across microservices and cloud environments. Duties:

• Design and implement advanced automated testing solutions across platforms.
• Lead the definition of test scenarios using ATDD/BDD and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and C#.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure quality delivery in CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead QA discussions, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a customer advocate and mentor junior QA engineers.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years in test automation and QA in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as GitLab, Postman, and Visual Studio Code.
• Advanced knowledge of C#/JavaScript and BDD frameworks.

• Proven ability to build, maintain and scale test automation suites.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, cloud testing tools and Kubernetes.
• Experience with MongoDB, message brokers, and observability tools like Kibana/Grafana.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring skills.
