Our client, an established and busy dealership (Medium Size) in Newcastle is seeking to employ an experienced Motor Mechanic that is self-motivated, friendly, and hardworking. The technician must be able to work independently.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Qualified Motor Mechanic
Industry: Automotive
Location: Newcastle KZN
Salary: Market Related


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid South African Driver’s License.
• Senior Certificate.
• Trade Test Certificate.
• Fully stocked toolbox.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years post trade certification.
• Diagnostic tool: ISTA Beneficial.

SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to take instructions and complete tasks.
• Work Independently.
• Take initiative without overstepping boundaries.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to perform various tasks such as:

• Minor and Major Services.
• Engine Remove and replace.
• Engine Strip & Assemble.
• Gearbox Remove & Replace.
• Braking Systems.
• Electrical Diagnostics.
• Mechanical Diagnostics.
