QC Incoming Inspector (Dimensional)

SUMMARY:
Our Client in the heavy engineering sector has a vacancy for an Incoming Quality Inspector. 
As Quality Control Inspector you will play a key role in checking components against relevant documented specifications whilst providing a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality control.  Ensure that products are processed in a timely and an accurate manner providing accurate and timely reports in accordance with the production schedule.

POSITION INFO:
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

• Perform inspection in warehouse, to review certificates for added in materials, ensure correct quantity
• Perform dimensional inspection of material to drawings.
• Work in accordance with drawings and procedures
• Follow all relevant QA/QC procedures
• Be thorough in work and be very meticulous

• Trade tested artisan (Fitter, Machinist Toolmaker)
• Matric certificate (high school Diploma) or N3
• 5 years' experience within a quality role previously
• Basic hand skills
• Be able to use dimensional equipment
• Interpret drawings
