POSITION INFO:
Job Summary
General management of the manufacturing department, Quality, R&D, Production, Suppliers & Customers
to ensure market competitiveness
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Managing Quality KPI targets at O/S Company
- Quality process management to ensure that Products are supplied from O/S Company with the right quality using The Company's Quality standards.
- Conducting Buyer Inspection weekly & reporting to HQ monthly
- NPI Preparation , BOM’s, EMC Testing , Vibration Testing
- OQ Gate to release New models to sales team
- Analyse quality stats weekly and review monthly with O/S Company for countermeasures
- Report monthly MBR
- Liase daily with O/S Company in production meeting
- Update management file and report in daily internal meeting on assigned tasks
- Drawing up contracts relating to suppliers
Financial/Job scope- Manage O/S Company
- Negotiating costing with O/S company
- Manage annual budget relating to department, assets,etc
Organizational Impact/Influence- Extensive High Level Strategic / Operational Interaction with (Internal)
- Sales members including subsidiary for production plan, shipment deliveries
- Service Team relating to customer defects
- External Interaction with:
- Nature and Purpose of the Interaction:
- Monitor and maintain relationships and ensure overall goal achievement.
Related Job Requirements / QualificationsRequired Experience- Minimum 7 Years Quality, including Manufacturing experience & R&D
- Good knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001
- Strong quality assurance knowledge and background
- Electronics Manufacturing experience SMT & FA
- Experience at reading BOM’s & Drawings
- Experience in process & quality improvements
- MS Office at an advanced level.
- High level of negotiation skills at boardroom level
- Maintaining Customer/Supplier relationship

- Communicaion with Suppliers from Board level down to supervisor level

Educational Requirements- Tertiary education within the Manufacturing / Quality, Business Management
Analysis- In-depth analysis for Quality KPI

- KPI report in MBR
Working Conditions- Production plan affecting OTD1
- Quality issue affecting Field failures
- Risk of delay of local items affecting production OTD1
Travel Requirements- Travel to meeting with local suppliers or for training at HQ
