Location: Nasrec, Gauteng

Job Description:
Overall maintenance and improvement of the quality of products, services, and processes

Requirements: Please note this is a fixed term contract

• Degree/Diploma in Food Technology/Biotech/Analytical
• 2+ years of relevant experience within the FMCG/manufacturing industry
  
• Proven ability to manage, maintain and deliver against Customer requirements.

• Support the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Food Safety and Quality System as per FSSC 22000
• Identify areas that need to be improved and work towards enhancing the overall quality and food safety, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct detailed statistical analysis to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in product and process quality and food safety.
• Perform regular GMP AND quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze test results and produce comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommending actionable improvements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to products and processes.
• Coordinate in-house training on company policies, procedures and basic GMP’s
• Participate in customer complaints investigations
• Raising nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis and investigation on non-conformances and ensure close out thereof.
• CCP/ OPRPs Monitoring Verifications.
• Serve as a technical liaison between quality and other departments.
• Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor, maintain and practice safety.
