Python Developer (Hardware/electronics/ML)

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Python Backend Developer with a solid background in Python, Flask, and FastAPI (Electronics sector), Centurion

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of backend development experience and should be an expert in Python and Docker development processes and tools. Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and integrations is also a must, Centurion

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement backend services using Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Embed Machine Learning capabilities into backend services.
- Handle GIS data types in PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Troubleshoot and debug backend services and anticipate potential issues in backend logic.
- Collaborate with the front-end team and assist with front-end technologies like React.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Strong experience with Python and Docker development processes and tools.
- Experience working with DevOps in Gitlab.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, with emphasis on GIS data types.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies like React is a plus.
- Certification in Azure or other cloud platforms is highly preferred.
