Pruning Specialist

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled Pruning Specialist to join our clients team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the expert pruning of trees, vines, and plants to enhance growth, improve yield, and maintain plant health. This role requires in-depth knowledge of pruning techniques, plant physiology, and seasonal care. POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Horticulture, Viticulture, Agriculture, or a related field (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years experience in pruning vineyards, orchards, or horticultural crops
• Strong knowledge of plant biology, pruning techniques, and seasonal growth patterns
• Ability to identify plant diseases, pests, and deficiencies
• Skilled in using pruning tools (shears, loppers, saws) and safety equipment
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team or independently
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
