Are you a seasoned leader in property management with a knack for strategic planning and a passion for driving results? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to join our client's team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Human Resources & Leadership:
  
  • Determine staffing needs and manage the team effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance, setting clear performance targets.
  • Ensure consistent performance management across the portfolio.
• Strategic Planning:
  
  • Develop and implement strategic plans with measurable objectives.
  • Benchmark KPIs against the market and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Draft and execute a comprehensive portfolio strategy to meet KPIs.
• Financial Management:
  
  • Manage portfolio net income vs. budget.
  • Oversee capital expenditure and ensure it aligns with the budget.
  • Monitor and manage arrears to optimize financial performance.
• Property Leasing & Retention:
  
  • Manage property leasing to minimize vacancies.
  • Develop and implement a tenant retention strategy.
• Reporting & Compliance:
  
  • Produce high-level executive summaries and detailed monthly reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all building regulations.
  • Consistently implement company policies and procedures.
• Development & Asset Management:
  
  • Identify and initiate refurbishment and development opportunities.
  • Facilitate property sales and acquisitions in line with asset management goals.
• Industry Relationships:
  
  • Build and maintain relationships with key players in the property industry using CRM tools.

• Education: BCom Accounting degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven experience in property management, financial management, and team leadership.
• Skills: Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
