SUMMARY:
Well established company based in Prospecton KZN is looking for a Project Technician to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Basic Function:
Assist Project Engineer in the delivery of new projects from project Kick Off up to production stage.

• Project Management
• Process Design & Implementation
• Innovation of Current Manufacturing Methods
• Problem Solving & Investigation.

• Create and track timing plans for overall scope and individual activities.
• Assist Project Engineer in ensuring milestones are achieved on time.
• Compile reports.
• Follow customer APQP processes.
• Basic Computer skills
  • Office 365
  • Excel
  • MS Teams

• Implementation of new processes
• Aid the Project Engineer with developing & trouble shooting new processes.
• Process Documentation
  • Process Instructions
  • Setting Parameters & Maintenance Checklists

• Fabricate prototypes.
• Assist in field testing and demos.
• Simulation testing

• Improve current processes to improve quality, efficiency & scrap.

• Assist Project Engineer in conducting detailed investigations to support Quality with regards to field failures
• Conduct detailed investigations into manufacturing problems.

• N Dip / B-tech Mech Eng or relevant technical experience

• Core Tools 1
• Design & drawing experience (CAD)
• Problem Solving Course / Skills
• Project Management Certification
