POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Project Planner
Location: Mpumalanga, Nkangala District, Witbank
Job Type:10 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all activities are accurately planned and tracked
- Collaborate with project teams to establish project timelines and milestones
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, implementing solutions to keep projects on track
- Prepare regular reports on project status, highlighting key achievements and risks
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with overall project goals
- Assist in resource allocation and budget management for projects
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practises
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the mining industry
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience:
5-8 Years experience in project planning and scheduling within the mining industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools and software MS Project
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Planning from first principles
- Ability to develop a schedule from Engineering drawings
