Project Manager (Mining & Engineering)

SUMMARY:
A dynamic Mining organization based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Project Manager with 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle
• Degree or Diploma in Project Management (PMP)(Essential)
• Travelling will be part of job requirements
• 5 plus years’ experience in Project Management
• Experience in the following industries: Mining/Plant/Heavy Engineering
• To ensure that the project is done and would be the principal contact person for the donor beneficiaries and the key stakeholders
• As the responsible person for the project the project manager needs to make key decisions regarding the management of the resources available to the project
• Ensure to get appropriate authority for project direction and control from senior management
• Implementing the project plan, ensuring all activities are performed of all parties involved
• Monitor and control the plan and measuring the initial results against the intended objectives and coordinating all changes to the plans
• Project planning and implementation are closely related and intertwined activities, developing of project plan to guide implementation, of good planning to produce good outputs and outcomes
• Project plan monitoring and control, constraints, scope, budget and quality.
• Communicate, changes to donors, management beneficiaries
• Update project plans and records
