Job Duties:
- Plan, execute, and oversee various mining projects from start to finish.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, team members, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare project reports and updates for senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mining industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP).
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager skilled in Concept and Feasibility studies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Sound understanding of mining operations and processes.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse project team.
