SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Project HES Supervisor to join their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Project HES Supervisor
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Certification in HES or a related field (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
Minimum 2 - 10 years of HES project supervision experience.
Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Excellent leadership and reporting skills.
Ability to work in high-pressure project environments.

Duties and responsibilities:

Oversee HES compliance for specific projects, including risk assessments.
Implement and monitor HES policies and practices on-site.
Train project staff on HES protocols and emergency procedures.
Conduct incident investigations and implement preventative measures.
Collaborate with project managers to align safety standards with project goals.
