SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the effective management, integration, direction, and control of projects. The successful candidate will act as the principal contact for stakeholders and will ensure that resources are optimally utilized to deliver successful project outcomes.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Project Accountability:

Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and ensure successful project completion.
Make strategic decisions regarding resource allocation and project direction.
Obtain necessary project approvals from senior management.

Project Integration and Coordination:

Develop and manage project planning documents.
Ensure smooth integration of project processes across different phases of the project lifecycle.
Monitor performance and adjust plans to achieve project objectives.
Track and control constraints such as scope, budget, and quality.

Communication:

Provide formal progress reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.
Maintain effective communication through emails, calls, and virtual meetings.

Leadership:

Guide the project team to achieve the project’s vision and goals.
Assign responsibilities and delegate authority effectively.
Maintain control and adherence to established standards.

Problem Solving and Negotiation:

Identify and address potential project challenges proactively.
Employ negotiation skills to secure agreements beneficial to the project.
Foster collaboration between team members and stakeholders to build morale.

Skills and Competencies

Strong leadership and coordination skills.
Analytical problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
Exceptional interpersonal and behavioral skills to drive team cooperation.
Advanced planning and organizational capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Project Management (PMP preferred).
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (travel required).
Ability to pass medical assessments.
Strong project management skills with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Cross-functional interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in mining, plant, or heavy engineering industries is advantageous
