POSITION INFO:
Project Engineer - Richards Bay
The Project Engineer plays a key role in the Projects/Engineering department with the primary focus being on:
- Installation and commissioning of company equipment at existing customer sites and of other equipment at other sites, where diversification opportunities may arise
- Follow leads with client related to new business opportunities
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
- This position includes regular travel to Mozambique
Requirements:- Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree) or Trade Tested artisan with minimum N4
- Project Management Diploma - essential
- 5+ years multi-disciplinary project experience
- Minimum of 3 years Site execution supervision experience
- Proven working experience in project management
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Projects
- Proven ability to identify possible new projects and opportunities
- Financial comprehension pertaining to budgets and job costing
- Excellent client-facing and verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid problem-solving ability
- Strong project planning, organizational and time management skills
- SA Citizen with a valid passport
