SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Project Coordinator - Manufacturing Engineering to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience: 1-10 years of experience in project coordination within a manufacturing environment.
Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and solid understanding of project management methodologies.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering design, and product development life cycles.
Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities:

Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, implement, and monitor detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring that project milestones are met.
Cross-Department Coordination: Work with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Resource Allocation & Management: Manage resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Tracking & Reporting: Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing projects adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
