SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee IT programs and projects. If you have a strong background in managing large-scale software projects, particularly within the supply chain, logistics, or related industries, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
POSITION INFO:
Primary Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects or programs in a medium to large-scale environment.
- Proven expertise in program management of software projects within Supply Chain, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or related industries.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- A tertiary qualification, Degree or equivalent, in Project Management, Business Management, Business Analysis, or a related field.
Personal Requirements:- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate goals, project status, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of the program’s success.
- Adaptability to changing requirements and environments, while maintaining focus on delivering results.
- A commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations and negotiating effectively when required.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Secondary (Advantageous) Requirements:- Experience with International Supply Chain (Import/Export) operations.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and development tools/technologies.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, Web Services).
- Program Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) would be a plus.
