Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) Opportunity required for leading firm in the CBD of Cape Town

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) to join our clients team. If you are a driven individual with a passion for excellence in quantity surveying and construction, this opportunity is for you.

Requirements:

PrQS Registration: Must be a registered Professional Quantity Surveyor for a minimum of 5 years.
Experience: At least 10 years of proven experience in the PrQS environment.
Must be able to lead meetings with clients
DimX, WinQS and MS Office essential
Building Expertise: Extensive experience in the building and construction sector is essential.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, project management, and contract administration.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and feasibility studies for building projects.
Manage budgets, monitor costs, and ensure financial efficiency throughout projects.
Conduct valuations and manage claims in line with contractual agreements.
Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and cost-effective solutions.
Oversee project progress and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
