REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years'''' experience in civil engineering. BEng / BSc Eng Degree or BTech / Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Possesses extensive knowledge in various civil engineering disciplines. Registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist at ECSA.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Experience in industrial (Oil & Gas, Chemical and Power Generation) and mining sectors, will be advantageous.
PREFERRED
- Design experience in roads, water, sewer, and stormwater
- Geometric / Pavement Design would be great
- Experience with work on Provincial / National Roads
- EE would be an advantage but not a requirement
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry (Brownfields) will be an advantage
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Preparing quotations and tenders for client submission. Interpret client requirements to appropriately define project scope and deliverables.
- Effective and efficient planning, management, and execution of projects in terms of scope, time, costs, resources and quality. Including changes to project scope.
- Prepare contract administration documentation based on NEC3/ NEC4 requirements.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong civil engineering design skills and principles.
- Execute engineering deliverables to industry standards and client requirements.
- Review drawings. Manage and work with a project team including sub-contractors and vendors.
- Collaborate and liaise with professional stakeholders from various engineering disciplines.
- Maintain and develop client relationships.
