SUMMARY:

A dynamic and fast-paced clothing supplier located in Verulam is looking for an experienced Production Planner to become part of their team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders.
Coordinate with various departments, including design, production, and quality assurance, to meet production deadlines.
Maintain and update production schedules to reflect changes in priorities or delays.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and machinery.
Track and monitor production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years in a production planning or related role within the clothing industry.
Strong knowledge of production processes in the clothing industry.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with team members and suppliers.
Analytical mindset to identify and resolve production challenges.
Diploma or degree in production management, textile/clothing manufacturing, or a related field.
Familiarity with production planning software and tools is an advantage.
