Production Planner

SUMMARY:
A dynamic and fast-paced clothing supplier located in Verulam is looking for an experienced Production Planner to become part of their team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders.
• Coordinate with various departments, including design, production, and quality assurance, to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain and update production schedules to reflect changes in priorities or delays.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and machinery.
• Track and monitor production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Minimum of 3 years in a production planning or related role within the clothing industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes in the clothing industry.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with team members and suppliers.
• Analytical mindset to identify and resolve production challenges.
• Diploma or degree in production management, textile/clothing manufacturing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with production planning software and tools is an advantage.
