POSITION INFO:

Our client, a global leader in designing and manufacturing critical consumables for the mineral processing, mining, and material handling sectors, is looking for a Production Manager to lead their high-performing team at their ISO 9001:2015 certified plant.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Engineering or an MBA in Operations Management
15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with a strong leadership track record
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, and Waste Elimination
Proven ability to drive cultural change and implement efficiency improvements
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
Deep understanding of labour laws and compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire the production team to achieve operational excellence.
Drive productivity improvements through lean methodologies and waste elimination.
Implement value stream mapping to optimise processes and identify efficiency opportunities.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging employees and driving change initiatives.
Utilise data-driven insights to solve operational challenges and enhance efficiency.
Mentor, develop, and upskill employees to build a high-performing team.
