Production Manager (FMCG)

POSITION INFO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate the production team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure product quality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency, minimizing waste and maximizing output.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards within the production facility.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
• Manage inventory control and raw material usage to reduce costs and improve profitability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of production machinery and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, including performance metrics and KPIs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and team performance.

• Diploma/Degree in Production Management/ Engineering/ Food Science
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the FMCG or dairy industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team, with a focus on achieving high-performance goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in production management software and MS Office applications.
