Production Clerk required to join a clothing manufacturer based in Briardene, Durban

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Cut Sheets
Getting patterns made by a pattern maker
First Fit Workbooks
QA Workbooks
Sourcing Fabric
Fabric Purchasing
Trims Purchasing
Dealing with CMT’s
Putting packs together to go to CMT’s
Chasing CMT’s
Basic Local Production Skills

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the fashion or garment production industry.
Understanding of patterns, fabric types, and trims.
Familiarity with CMT processes and quality assurance practices.
Basic knowledge of local production processes and terminology.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Computer literate
Effective communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
