SUMMARY:
Handling all Clients products; Receiving, Put Away, Picking, Dispatching, Stock Controlling.

POSITION INFO:

Receiving

Supervise and coordinate all the receiving activities in the warehouse in line with internal and external client requirements. This function includes overseeing and or physically doing the following:
Off-loading of trucks/containers
Ensuring the operation of the Forklift/Reach Truck is in line with legislative requirements
Physical stock match GRV/GRN/INV, including pallet breaks to do spot checks

Put- Away

Supervise and coordinate all the put-away activities in the warehouse in line with internal and external client requirements. This function includes overseeing and or physically doing the following:
Moving of stock to pre-decided bin locations
Ensuring the operation of the Forklift/Reach Truck is in line with legislative requirements
Stock is grouped by account type
Stock is grouped by product type
Physical stock bin location is matching BluYonde bin location

Picking

Supervise and coordinate all the picking activities in the warehouse in line with internal and external client requirements. This function includes overseeing and or physically doing the following:
Moving of stock to pick or setup location
Ensuring the operation of the Forklift/Reach Truck is in line with legislative requirements
Stock is picked from picking slip provided
Stock is picked from bin locations provided
Picked stock is sealed and put in secure location provided for dispatch

Dispatch

Supervise and coordinate all the dispatch activities in the warehouse in line with internal and external client requirements. This function includes overseeing and or physically doing the following:
Collecting of the correct stock from the secure dispatch location
Loading of trucks/containers
Ensuring the operation of the Forklift/Reach Truck is in line with legislative requirements
Dispatch quality control sheet are being used and is filed
Physical stock matches GDV/GDN/INV.

Containers are packed in such a matter that the load is shed, stock is secure and cannot fall over and or get damaged
Dunnage bags are used for containers as per WNL export policy/procedure
Container is fumigated
Containers/Trucks are sealed with register seal and seal number is documented
Pictures are taken of pallets packed by line, pallets stacked, dunnage bags, no seal

Stock Controlling

Responsible for supervising and managing sound stock control practices and principles throughout the Warehouse including Quality control

Adhoc

Ensure daily housekeeping is conducted
Ensure Health and Safety is adhered too
Be available to perform any other task related to the warehouse within limitations
To follow any lawful instruction or task given by supervisor

Requirements:

Matric or Senior Certification equivalent
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Warehousing
Good knowledge of Warehousing and Stock Control practices
Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation
