POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a results-driven and innovative Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing strategies. The position is as marketing manager for one of our 4 clusters in our technology business. The candidate should be adept at driving brand visibility, marketing efforts to drive customer acquisition, and ultimately revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in: digital marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, marketing communications, and product management, have decent experience in events management, merchandise selection and management, with a proven ability to develop and manage multifaceted campaigns.

What you’ll do:

• Product and Service marketing entails:
  • Marketing plan or strategy per business unit / Solution
  • Events management
  • Social media posts
  • Email campaigns
  • Data analysis
  • Support for content development
  • Support for product and service development
  • MDF claims

Your expertise:

• 12-15 years of marketing experience, preferably in a technology-based business.
• Proficiency in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Communications, Online Marketing, and Online Advertising.
• Expertise in Product / Service / Solution Marketing.
• Strong analytical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience in budget management and ROI optimization.
• Proven ability to work in teams, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Degree / Diploma in Digital Marketing, Advertising
• Qualifications preferred:
  • Certificates related to social media (Google analytics, etc.)

Other information applicable to the opportunity:

• Permanent Position
• Location: Midrand
• Work environment: Hybrid (3 days in office) 
• Physical demands: Nothing out of the ordinary for an office-based job, other than event / exhibition set-up. 
• Travel: Must be available to travel within Gauteng and surrounds for events / exhibition set up.
