Product Compliance Manager

A well establish Engineering company in the East Rand, is seeking the services of a Production Compliance Manager

POSITION INFO:
Main Purpose of the Job
The Product Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that all company products adhere to regulatory
standards and risk management policies. This role is essential for maintaining product reliability, safety, and
compliance with relevant regulations, ultimately contributing to the company's success and reputation.


Education, experience and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Compliance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or product compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing teams and projects.



Responsibilities
- Communicate solutions and risk mitigation strategies to the affected business units.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating risk areas across product implementation.
- Conduct investigations to identify issues in product offerings.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Maintain documentation for risk management and risk policies and procedures.
- Compile all relevant reports.
- Conduct regular branch and site visits to identify risks and find solutions to mitigate identified risks.
- Responsible for all Section 21 duties.
- Management of RMA Technologist
- Build the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the department.
- Analyze the RMA (Return Material Authorization) report.
- Manage high failure items.
- Oversee improvement projects for RMA items.
- Approve final RMA reports and findings and hand them over to the relevant department.
- Management of Field Service Safety Officer
- Implement and manage the ISO 45001 safety system.
- Track and monitor all relevant reports in line with ISO 45001
