SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer (Consultant) to provide engineering support for our client, a leading name in refining, committed to operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The role involves reviewing plant designs, troubleshooting issues, optimizing processes, and supporting projects from concept to commissioning.

Contract position - until June 2025
Location - Sasolburg

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Review existing designs and identify improvements.
Develop Basic Engineering Design Packages (BEDP) and process specifications.
Perform process simulations, mass & energy balances, and hydraulic calculations.
Provide input for HAZOP, SIL reviews, and process safety management.
Support commissioning and performance testing.

Requirements:

BEng/BSc in Chemical Engineering.
5+ years’ experience in process engineering (refinery/petrochemical preferred).
Proficiency in process simulation tools and engineering design.
